Search for the Color Blue
This project is part of a week workshop
with Patrick Thomas

Barcelona 2023

This publication is a study in search of the color blue in the 'Basar' stores in Barcelona, where all the objects highlighted in the study are genuinely blue in reality. The essence of this project lies in the preservation of these short-lived objects, while simultaneously criticizing the durability of the items sold in these stores and the associated mass production.

The goal is to emphasize the uniqueness of these blue objects, often ephemeral, in contrast to the prevailing culture of fast consumption and disposal.

This publication employs three different printing techniques: Risograph, laser printing, and stickers.

All the text featured in the publication is a dissertation written by ChatGPT on the topic of mass production associated with these stores. I chose these tools for writing because ChatGPT itself generates mass-produced information, drawing a direct parallel with the stores.
